Description
BAR-RUST CLEAR is a blend of specially designed inorganic corrosion inhibitors contained in a petroleum base carrier. The excellent rust protective properties of the product are obtained by a special “shingling” effect which occurs during the curing process of the applied film. Very small alkaline, plate-shaped particles form a tightly coherent barrier wherein each particle overlaps the surrounding particles in the manner of shingles on the roof of a house. This tightly cohesive and adhesive barrier of “interlocking” corrosion resistant cells function as a continuous film which repels water (essential to rust formation), and protects the base metal beneath the film. BAR-RUST CLEAR comes in both clear and black formulations.
